Women’s health & dignity

Periods should never stop a girl

Stree Sanman means respect for women, for Mother Nature and for Mother Earth. Our menstrual hygiene solutions give girls and women easy access to napkins and a safe, private way to dispose of them.

The challenge

Missed days, lost confidence

Many girls miss school and many women miss work during their periods because napkins are hard to get and there is nowhere safe to dispose of them. Used napkins end up in drains, toilets or open fires.

  • Lack of access in schools, colleges, offices and public places
  • Stigma and silence around menstruation
  • Unsafe disposal that harms sanitation workers and the environment

Yes. Many of our installations are funded through CSR, and we support planning, installation and impact reporting.
