Smokeless biomedical waste incinerator
INCECO treats infectious biomedical waste on site at hospitals, PHCs and laboratories. Twin electrically heated chambers and a multi-stage flue-gas train are designed to meet the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016.

The challenge
Infectious waste is a daily risk for every hospital
Our answer: INCECO destroys incinerable waste on site, the same day, with a cleaned, smokeless exhaust.

Independently certified
VJTI Mumbai certifies INCECO for biomedical waste
An independent third-party performance evaluation, thermal efficiency audit and emission test by VJTI found INCECO compliant with the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, with stack emissions far below CPCB limits.
Recommended for final acceptance and deployment for on-site disposal.Independent third-party evaluation by the Civil & Environmental Engineering Dept., VJTI Mumbai · Report CEED/CON/4070/2026 · Tested at Thane Civil Hospital and Central Hospital, Ulhasnagar
Why choose it
Key benefits
Treat waste where it is generated
Infectious waste is destroyed on site, cutting storage time, handling and transport risk for your staff and the community.
Built for BMW compliance
The secondary chamber reaches about 1050 °C, the temperature prescribed for biomedical waste, before gases pass through the cleaning train.
Smokeless operation
A water scrubber, activated carbon and our patented corona-discharge smoke absorption unit clean the exhaust before release.
Sized to your facility
Batch models from 5–7 kg for PHCs and clinics up to 45–50 kg (INCECO-M) for district and civil hospitals.
How it works
From infectious waste to clean exhaust
Waste is burned in two stages at controlled temperatures, then the flue gas is cleaned in three further stages.
Ideal for
Where it is used
Installed at
- Thane Civil Hospital
- Central Hospital, Ulhasnagar
- Karjat Sub-District Hospital
- 12 primary health centres in Raigad district

Frequently asked questions
Questions about INCECO Biomedical Waste Incinerator
Which biomedical waste can INCECO treat?
INCECO is designed for incinerable biomedical waste as defined in the Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016, such as the waste streams the rules route to incineration. Our team confirms suitability for your waste mix during the site assessment.
Does INCECO meet the BMW Rules temperature requirements?
Yes. The primary chamber operates at about 800 °C and the secondary chamber at about 1050 °C, the temperature range prescribed for biomedical waste incineration, followed by a scrubber, activated carbon and a corona-discharge unit.
Which capacity should our hospital choose?
PHCs and clinics typically choose the 5–7 kg per batch model, mid-sized hospitals the 20–25 kg model, and district or civil hospitals the 45–50 kg INCECO-M. We size the unit from your daily waste generation.
Has INCECO been independently tested?
Stack tests on 12 INCECO units at Raigad-district PHCs in 2022 were within prescribed limits, with dioxins and heavy metals not detected. VJTI Mumbai is carrying out an independent performance and emission evaluation.
Can a BMW incinerator be funded through CSR?
Yes. Installing incinerators at government hospitals and PHCs qualifies under Schedule VII of the Companies Act (health care and sanitation, and environmental sustainability). We prepare CSR-ready proposals for funders.
